About Madie

My name is Madie and I absolutely love to create and I can't wait to share my work with you!

After finishing my undergraduate degree at Canisius College in Buffalo, New York I moved back to my home town of Penn Yan, New York to complete my graduate degree. I'm a Doctorate of Chiropractic student with an absolute passion for the career I'm about to enter. I look forward to working with patients to find the root cause of their pain to positively impact their daily living.

With my career choice, it's no surprise that I have an immense love for the human body and what it's capable of. I have never been more fascinated in the biological mechanics of how we think, feel and move and how our bodies make that possible for us. My passion for the human body seamlessly transfers into my artwork. I love to create and to draw, but drawing anatomical structures is by far my favorite. I've been fortunate enough to see these structures in person during my year of Gross Anatomy at chiropractic school - so I can verify their correctness!

I'll document my journey as I traverse this crazy thing called life as a nerdy 20-something and an aspiring doctor. Here, you'll also find lots of my other passions, all expressed through my art: nature, mental health advocacy, family and so on!

I have many means to express myself and my art, but I'm creating this website to act as a 'central hub' for all things Madie Made It.

I live in the most gorgeous place in the world - Keuka Lake!	I'd be absolutely overjoyed by a day kayaking or hiking in the area
Family is incredibly important to me... my parents and my brother are my whole world	My brother Joey is quite possibly the biggest inspiration I have in my life - and many of the other lives he touches
Abbey, is my stubborn Beagle and she is the sassiest old lady	Quite often you'll find me with a wine glass in hand...
I am quite often bit by the travel bug! I'm fortunate enough to have seen a fair chunk of this lovely world	Good thing I love family because I've got a big one! This was my dad's side - and only the ones who could make it that day!
